North Producing Material For Up To 20 Nuclear Weapons A Year: S. Korea

South Korean President Lee Jae Myung has warned that North Korea is producing enough nuclear material each year to build up to 20 nuclear weapons, raising concerns over global security. Speaking on January 21, Lee said Pyongyang is also advancing its long-range ballistic missile capabilities, potentially threatening the US mainland. He cautioned that once North Korea builds an excessive nuclear arsenal, it could export weapons beyond its borders. Lee reiterated his support for dialogue without preconditions and suggested that a Trump-style approach could help revive talks with North Korean leader Kim Jong Un.
