A fairly busy level crossing found next to Ainsdale Station within the coastal area of Ainsdale just outside of Southport. At this level crossing, only one alarm was working at the time of filming, but it was loud enough to be perfectly audible around the crossing despite this. There are as many as seven sets of warning lights / wigwags here, quite a lot compared to at most crossings, and it can be noticed that those facing down the side roads around the level crossing flash out of sequence with those facing the main roads over the crossing.

The chapter for the 'train' section of lowering three looks slightly different because I couldn't see the unique number on the front of the train in the third lowering, as well as the fact that there's very little noticeable difference between the two variants of Merseyrail 'peps'.
