The supervised care that is given during pregnancy is called as antenatal care and there are no set number of visits that you need to be given during the course of the pregnancy. But ideally for the first three months and the last one month of pregnancy are the most important and the crucial one. So your visits to the hospital will be a bit more during these phases but roughly once in a month is what we would say. So it might come somewhere closer to 12 to 13 visits spread over nine months. But the first three months and last one month your visits will be a bit more frequent to assess if you and your baby are doing well in the course of pregnancy.
