Baganga, Davao Oriental, Philippines. Best Beaches in the Philippines Vlog. Philippines itinerary

Together with our closest friends, we decided to go for a two-day excursion which I would personally say that it is 'A Road Less Travelled' Destination in Davao Oriental, Philippines. What a gem it truly is (as cliche as it may sound).

We started in Davao del Norte and our first stop was Yat'z Kapehan. We had our breakfast there and enjoyed the scenic view of a nearby mountain.

We then had another stop at Aliwagwag Falls. It is truly magestic and breath-taking. It is conveniently located just beside the national road so we were able to have a quick photo op.

Finally, we have reached our first destination in Davao Oriental, San Victor Island Retreat. We took a short 5 to 10 minute boat ride from the mainland going to the islet. We settled down and ordered for our lunch which mainly composed of seafood. It would be nice if we had also brought in barbeque lol. After we stuffed our faces, we took a little rest before heading out to enjoy the turquoise water and fine white sand.

We then proceeded to Playa del Rosario Resort which is just 30 minutes away. We checked in for one night and we ordered dinner. The resort has quite excellent amenities, fully air-conditioned rooms with water dispenser. It is also equipped with a restaurant capable for holding events as the place is spacious enough. It has an infinity pool as well as a kiddie pool, both are well-maintained. Fronting the pool is the beach, it is serene and relaxing.
We definitely spent an amazing night comfortably.

The next morning, after our sumptious breakfast, we headed to Lake Cartagena before checking out. The lake is crystal clear and it is refreshingly cold. Just what we needed for a hot summer day. They also have huts where people can set up and stay longer. Time went fast and we did not notice that we already spent about two hours as we were having fun.

We retreated back to check out. We took the liberty to immortalize our moment by taking a group photo.

On our way home, we had our very last stop over at Rendezvouz restaurant. There is nothing better than a home-cooked meal that we craved for by this time. They also have lobster and other seafood which could be cooked however you would like it to be. You can also buy it as take away if you like.

All in all, our Baganga experience was a lot more fun considering the amazing destinations as we were with good, nay, amazing company.
We definitely recommend trying this travel excursion if you are in Mindanao, or planning to visit Mindanao.
