Amiga RAM Expansion A501 RTC Battery Replacement (Read desription first!)

Replacing the battery on an Amiga 500 RAM expansion with a modern CR2032 coin cell.

I was REALLY tired when I shot this, so there's a bunch of flaws. First and foremost, I soldered in the battery with the wrong polarity. It works for a few minutes because the caps are holding a little charge, i guess. This mod works if you do it the right way round, though. The circuit diagram is correct. ;)

Sorry for mislabeling the diode I used. It is indeed a 1N4148 (not an 1N4848, of course). You can probably use most standard diodes for the job without any problems.

Oh, and the TV modulator I'm talking about is the A520, not the A502 (which is another RAM expansion). Tired. You know.
