I couldn’t make an Elarra clear, so Mog came to show how powerful his AASB2 is.

Can’t stress this enough, but Mog AASB2 is way OP. Makes team composition quite easy compared to a few other supportive characters.

This zalera fight is tough. 2 DB Full breaks, nasty status effects, too little time to clear each phase. It’s a race and you need to have the proper tools to accelerate this team.

First things first:

Phase1 you have 22.6 seconds to clear

Phase2 you have +15 seconds to clear

Phase3 you have another 13-15 seconds to get the win

This fight is status hell.

Phase1 has: Blind Slots2/4, Stop Slot5, with a few sap attacks in between

Phase2 is met with Sleep slots2/4, Doom slot3 and Zalera might guards himself

Phase3 is met with Confuse at “most hate” character (normally your main DPSer), Sleep at slots1/5 and doom at slot4

So the main status to be aware are and can be run killers are: Blind, Stop, sleep and confuse

Alma plays a major role in this fight. Her USB1 has Astra and can skip lots of status effects, but Mog AASB2 has the Esuna chase. Also, if you need, marche SSB has Esuna also, meaning you can slot him in. Tyro can also be a great alternative into this fight, but I’ve decided to ignore Tyro completely (his lack of party Quickcast is what annoys me the most)

Alma USB1 as first action acts greatly to overwrite sap and Astra both Blind and Stop. You can time her USB1 again to skip Sleep in Phase2, but skipping Confuse is hard to time because Zalera throws AOE Sap followed by confuseja as instant action.

Also, Alma USB3 (non-lensable) is quite powerful and the DR2 barriers are awesome to alleviate your healers job.

Besides avoiding the status effects and the Full breaks, the job here is to go fast, since you have no time to waste against Zalera.

Mog AASB2 came to the rescue since it makes some stuff quite “trivial”. It counters both full breaks and it can Esuna party every 2 turns while it grants Quickcast to everyone for 15 seconds +9% damage boost!
