Today honorable Director of Ghani Khan Choudhary Institute of Engineering and Technology (GKCIET), Malda, West Bengal, Malda, Prof. Alapati Parameswara Rao received lifetime achievement award in the area of Liquid Crystals. This award was conferred and presented by the Indian Liquid Crystal Society for his contributions to the research field of liquid crystals and administrative achievements. The award was presented to him by the ILCS in its 30th National Conference and Annual General Body Meeting held at the Department of Physics, Andhra University, Visakhapatnam on 02.11.2023. Prof. Alapati would deliver his life time achievement award lecture on 3rd November 2023 at the conference.
