This is a fairly easy yet very rewarding short hike. You should have at least a small amount of hiking experience and some good, sturdy shoes but it is mostly easy to navigate with a well-defined trail and adequate signposting. It is an approximately 2-hour, 4.3km walk through Springbrook National Park in the stunning hinterland region of Gold Coast in South-East Queensland, Australia.

You have the option to start at Canyon Lookout or Tallanbana, however, note that Tallanbana has toilets but Canyon Lookout does not. The track takes you along the top rim of the canyon then down mid-way into the canyon to enjoy the refreshing air of the rainforest. The trail takes you through areas of tall tree ferns and palms as well as some other massive ancient trees. Twin Falls and Blackfellow Falls are the highlights of the walk and you can walk behind both of them! This is a great short walk that is highly recommended and easy to get to by car. It is just 45 minutes from Gold Coast.
