The Seattle Mariners have been fortunate enough to have several MLB legends play a good portion of their careers for the franchise. Ken Griffey Jr, Randy Johnson, Ichiro, and of course, Edgar Martinez. Edgar was finally inducted into the Baseball Hall of Fame in 2019, which was final year of eligibility, ending a 9 year streak of being unable to reach the necessary vote threshold. In this video, Matt takes a look at one of Cooperstown's most underappreciated members and talks about Edgar's journey from his childhood in Puerto Rico, to becoming the greatest designated hitter in Major League Baseball history!
