Have you ever heard a different meaning in a song that was not intended by the artist? This song was penned by Simon LeBon for his wife...in the 90's, I heard a synth wave pop love song.
Now I hear what it's like as a mother to raise children into young adulthood. It's a strange grieving process that has been very challenging for me as a highly sensitive, empathic dreamer to process through. I also feel as though our society and school system only sets neurotypical children up for success. There is little support for those of us who are a little lost in this world, who fall through the cracks, who have encountered strife early on.
Both of my children are beautiful souls, and it pains me to see when they learn life lessons "the hard way" .
