The resist[AI]nce Book Club hosts virtual GCAS-led events that are open to the public.
The facilitators encourage participants to suggest and vote on books for each event. The
facilitators then hold a panel-led discussion of the main themes in the book(s) selected. While the discussion is panel-led, open discourse is encouraged and attendees are welcome to engage.

resist[AI]nce is led by a team of self-organized AI researchers at GCAS College Dublin. The
members come from all over the world, including Europe, the Caribbean, and North America.

Note that the group is not opposed to AI itself, but rather, the unethical implementation of AI. resist[AI]nce advocates for AI ethics, AI safety, HCAI, and responsible AI use.
