We began our pilgrimage to the 12 Jyotirlingas on September 2, starting from Katra Vaishno Devi, a significant spiritual destination known for its beautiful temples and the sacred cave dedicated to Goddess Vaishno Devi. From Katra, we set out to our first Jyotirlinga, Baba Kedarnath.

Kedarnath is not only one of the most revered shrines dedicated to Lord Shiva but also holds a unique place in Hindu mythology. Nestled in the breathtaking Himalayas at an altitude of around 3,583 meters, the Kedarnath temple is renowned for its stunning architecture and the natural beauty surrounding it. The trek to Kedarnath can be challenging, often requiring a hike through rugged terrain, which enhances the spiritual experience as pilgrims seek divine blessings.
