Close to Port Elizabeth, Hogsback is the perfect quick escape destination which is why it made sense to kick start these shorter Just To See How Far It Is adventures here.
And even though I have been a few times, you never get tired of the natural beauty and the unique ability nature has to recharge your soul.
We've stayed at a superb spot called The Cabins - fantastic location, well appointed and close to town.
Something to be aware of though - it seems Hogsback is positioning itself more as a weekend getaway spot which is sad because I prefer the quieter midweek breakaways - we found many of the eateries and shops were closed, only opening later in the week.
