Let's learn how to play "Just My Imagination" on guitar by the Temptations. In today's guitar lesson I will show you two different ways of playing the chord progressions to this song. The first way is more a jazz guitar approach that uses what I call closed position chords, which is going to use chord shapes that don't have open strings. Then I'll also show you a way of playing the same chord progression but really making it easy using open position chords.

This song features a must know chord progression called a ii-V-I chord progression. And this chord progression is one of the most common chord progressions in jazz music, and it also shows up quite a bit in pop music as well.
