I Joist Plant

Описание к видео I Joist Plant

I-Joist line takes LVL billets and sheets of OSB board to produce I-Joists up to 420mm/1.4ft high x 12m/40ft long. Speed is up to 20m/min (65ft/min) with a maximum length of 12m/40ft. Finished Joists are automatically offset stacked into a pack ready for despatch.
Components of line are;

1. Beamsaw (12m/40ft capacity) for cutting the LVL billets up to 1200mm/4ft wide x 12m/40ft long. Billets are cut into flanges/chords ready to be fed into the Moulder.
2. Flanges are fed through Moulder to have the grooves machined. Can do flanges up to 90x50mm/3.5"x2"
3. Flanges pass through glue applicator to have the PUR glue put into the grooves. Glue pumps are servo controlled for accurate application.
4. OSB sheets are cut through a smaller 3m/10ft beamsaw and passed through a DET (double end tenoner) for sizing and machining, creating the centre webs.
5. Finshed Webs (OSB) pass across a glue applicator to have the PUR glued put in to the end groove.
6. Flanges and webs come together in the assembler getting pressed together to form the I-Joist.
7. Out of the Assembler the I-Joist has the Logo printed on the Web, then kicked off onto the curing conveyor.
8. After the curing conveyor the Joists are passed over the trimsaws for accurate sizing on the length (this has be disabled in the video, not required).
9. Finally, Joists get fed across to the Stacker for offset stacking of Joists into a 1.2m/4ft wide maximum pack.
