If you are transferred from a home birth or birth center birth to a hospital, what do you need to know when you are that transfer patient? What kind of information should you be ready to share when you arrive to make sure you are getting the best and proper care for yourself and your baby?

We ask a current Ob-gynecologist what kind of information is helpful and what people should be prepared to share when arriving to a hospital from an out-of-hospital birthing experience.
