BRAND NEW, UNSEEN HARRY GREB FOOTAGE 💥 💥 ‼️

Harry Greb imo is the most impressive boxer, with the greatest resume ever seen. A middleweight who beat 16 hall of famers, slaughtered Gene Tunney & famously beat up Jack Dempsey in sparring. The greatest Middleweight of all time - He went 45-0 in one year & lost just 16 of 300 pro fights. The problem is, there’s no footage of him.

It’s become a bit of an obsession searching for Greb’s fight tapes, which are known to have been filmed but never found. His lack of footage, perhaps takes away his status as the GOAT, as there is no one with a more impressive resume.

However, I think that I may have found unseen footage of Harry Greb, amazingly, training with the Heavyweight Champion Jack Dempsey!! Greb, barrages Dempsey for a fight, which never materialised, yet it was known the pair trained together & sparred, on numerous occasions & even fought on the same card. Dempsey once said of Greb, ‘he’s the fastest fighter I ever saw, hell Greb is even faster then Benny Leonard’.

Here we see footage of Dempsey working the bag, as a training partner skips behind him. As I say, the pair were known to have trained together in public sessions. The physicality of each man matches up, Greb is smaller, slimmer & more agile then Dempsey and the boxer skipping has all of the similar facial features of Greb, the cheek bones, broken nose, brows & skips with light footed speed that Greb was famous for

I found this footage on an old newsreel that Scott Granville sent over to me, it’s from 1926, from a still promoting the huge Dempsey - Tunney fight. My theory, is it is archival footage from the time of Dempsey working the bad & there is strong possibilities the fighter behind could be the legendary, illusive Harry Greb!
