"Although trained during the 2020 lockdowns by Jérôme Mahé (AD VITAM INFERNAL) and Samuel Girard (ATHANATHEOS, AD VITAM INFERNAL, OCEANRISE, AL JANNAL, ÉCHO[RCHURE]), the duo was soon joined by soloist Kiato Luu (former ANTERIA and NIEBELUNGEN guitarist) and drummer Antoine Poisson (current session drummer for ATHANATHEOS).

The objective of the group is to propose a Death Metal slower and less brutal than the one proposed by AD VITAM INFERNAL and also simpler technically and more raw of removal than that practiced by ATHANATHEOS.
SOULSLICER thus practices an old-fashioned Death Metal in the vein of ASPHYX and the more warrior of BOLT THROWER as well as a hint of thrash inspired by the old albums of SLAYER and KREATOR.

The members being all scattered throughout France, the group does not intend to make concerts but other albums are already planned. The songs and texts of the second album are already finished and continue the exploration of this planet subjected to the dictatorship of mutant viruses and irradiated deaths. The third album is being created.
