Stila’s Glitter & Glow Liquid Eyeshadow is a staple I’ve had in my makeup bag for years. It’s a long-wearing formula that combines a variety of pigments with pearl and glitter to create shining, shimmering, sparkling looks for just about any occasion.

As it’s one of my favorite products to use when I’m going out, I want to share a couple different ways you can wear this liquid eyeshadow to create fun, stand-out makeup looks that can easily be dressed up or down.

My favorite shade from this line is Smoldering Satin, which is a deep tan, warm rose gold color with brown undertones and sparkling silver glitter. One of the reasons I love this particular shade is because it is extremely versatile.

Starting with just the eyes, you can keep your look simple by swiping on this liquid shadow and applying some lash-lifting mascara. This already brightens up the whole eye area and creates that “I’m here to celebrate” effect. For bigger events and a more dramatic look, I also apply a touch of this shadow under my bottom lashes.

A little bit of this eyeshadow goes a long way, especially with how much glitter it deposits with a single swipe. Instead of laying more onto my lids, I like to mix up my eye looks by either contouring with some dark brown matte or satin shadow on the outer corner of my eyes. For nighttime looks or parties, I even like to blend out darker, more chocolatey hues from the outer corners up toward my eyebrows to create smokey eyes.

For a more neutral look with only a touch of drama, I like to add a simple wing to my eye and pair it with a matte brown lip. The intensity of the glitter balances well with the simplicity of nude lipstick.

Especially during the holidays, I like to go a bit bolder and pair this shadow with bright red lips. It’s a look that works well with fun, festive colors, but it’s easy to go overboard if the glitter goes on too heavy.

While I love the Smoldering Satin shade, there are also a lot of other colors with different finishes. For example, Diamond Dust has multi-colored glitter, Molten Midnight is a black shade with silver and gold glitter (great for New Year’s parties), and Perlina and Wanderlust have iridescent shifting bases. I even like to mix and match the different colors sometimes to create unique looks.
