War Of Words Erupt Between BJP, Congress Over G20 Logo Depicting Lotus | G20 Summit 2023

Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Tuesday unveiled the logo, theme and website of India’s G20 Presidency for the Summit 2023 which is the highest-profile international gathering ever to be hosted by India.

However, the controversy erupted after Congress leader Jai Ram Ramesh claimed that PM Modi is promoting BJP logo.

Taking to Twitter, veteran Congress leader Jairam Ramesh said, “Over 70 years ago, Nehru rejected the proposal to make Congress flag the flag of India. Now, BJP's election symbol has become official logo for India's presidency of G20! While shocking, we know by now that Mr. Modi & BJP won’t lose any opportunity to promote themselves shamelessly!”
