A GLIMPSE OF SINGAPORE’S NEWLY OPENED BIRD PARK | BIRD PARADISE (JURONG BIRD PARK)

Bird Paradise - The Singapore Bird Paradise, was opened in May 2023 at the Mandai Wildlife Reserve. This newly opened Bird Park is the successor to the previous popular Jurong Bird Park which was opened in 1971.

The newly opened Bird Paradise has a collection of over 3,500 birds with 400 different species. A highlight of the Bird Paradise is the nine walk-through aviaries with different habitats of the world, namely

4. Amazonian Jewels
5. Songs of the Forest
6. Crimson Wetlands
7. Wings of Asia

Another popular highlight of the park is the Ocean Network Express Penguin Cove

This state-of-the-art, multi-level indoor Ocean Network Express Penguin Cove is where the flightless birds live – four penguin species – the Gentoo Penguin, King Penguin, Humboldt Penguin and Northern Rockhopper Penguin. Get ready for a magical sub-Antarctic experience at this penguin cove.
