The highlands of Eastern Nepal are home to a wealth of endangered species of trees called “Lali Gurash”. Rhododendron arboreum or Lali gurans in Nepali, is the national flower of Nepal.
This is the first episode of the two part series on "My Quest to find the renowned Rhododendron bloom in Basantapur and Tinjure".
In this episode I travel from Dharan to Basantapur through the beautiful vistas of Eastern Nepal after visiting some holy temples in Dharan.
