Sneha Saurabha Balaga, Vijayapura, Melodius and Devotional Bhajan Programme at Sri Prasanna Ganesha Temple on 11 August 2015:
Sneha Saurabha Balaga, Vijayapura, presented a “Bhajanamrita” programme at Sri Prasanna Ganesha Temple, near LIC office, Station Road, Vijayapura on 11 Aug 2015, Tuesday evening. The group of Bhajan singers trained and inspired by , Smt.Prema Raghavendrachar participated in the one hour Bhajan programme in the evening.
The Bhajans were sung in melody by a team of 12 singers in unison with great melody and devotion.The participants in the Bhajan programme are Smt.Prema Raghavendrachar, Shakunthala Vijaya Kumar ,Mahananda C Hiremath , Kalpana R Kulkarni, Shweta U Dandoti, Vidya Nadagouda, , Kashibai B Biradar, Veena Kulkarni, Usha Shiraguppi, Nanda Shiraguppi, Shrilakshmi Habbu , Shobha Kulkarni, Rajkumar Kori. A large number of devotees of Sri Prasanna Ganapathi Temple participated in the Bhajan.
The Bhajan sung are Guru Brahma Guru Vishnu, Elliruve Ganapathiye, Prema, Ekadanta Vakratunda. Yogi Manege Banda, Noduta Baro Naliyuta Baro, Keshava Madhava, Narayana Enniro, Pavamana Pavamana Jagadha Prana, Ede Maha Naama, Ganapathi Gunamani Namo Namo, Chellidaru Malligeya, Om Ganesha Jaya Ganesha, Shri Mangala Devi Ninage Pranama, Om Ganesha Jaya Ganesha.
Smt. Prema Raghavendrachar addressed the devotees on the occasion. The temple priest Sri Natesh Bhat performed maha pooja on the auspicious occasion.
Later Sri Natesh Bhat did Asheervachanam to the gathered devotees. Later the members of the “Sneha Saurabha Balaga,Vijayapura” honourd Smt. Prema Raghavendrachar for her support in bringing a platform for the devotees to learn and present devotional songs and Bhajans.
The sessions of bhajan singing practice took place in Sainik School Bijapur campus for ten days. The team is also venturing to train themselves on Bhava Geethe and Janapada Geethe next.
Raghavendrachar, Kiran Kumar and his wife Uma Kiran Kumar joined the Bhajan programme. Mr.Pushparaj Shetty ,Master in English,his wife Smt. Pushpa Shetty and daughter Prajakta Shetty. Mr. KG Mahesh, Asst Master in Sanskrit, Smt. Anjana Mahesh took part in the event. The programme concluded with the distribution of prasadam.
