Exploring Lagos in the Algarve, Portugal 🇵🇹|| breathtaking views|| surprising nightlife| Seafood

We took a short trip to Lagos in the Algarve. From the first day I heard there was a city called Lagos in Europe, I made it my mission to visit that city.
We took the bus from Lisbon and that took us about 4-5 hours to get to Lagos. Our host was the very best, very helpful and friendly. I found it comparatively slightly cheaper than Lisbon if you are outside the very touristy areas.
You cannot really go wrong with the beaches here, there is a lot to choose from. Whether you want to have your clothes on or off, there is a beach for you. I thought some of the caves were going to be accessible on foot but unfortunately most of them are only accessible by boat. Be sure to check that out before going there.
I would definitely recommend hiking along the coast and seeing the cliffs from up close, catching a sunset is also a must do in Lagos. Check out my instagram page (highlight) for more clips on Portugal.
I would also recommend checking the slavery museum, I heard from others that it might not be that impressive after all, that it might be basic compared to how it is sold. But I would still want to check it out for myself to see what actually is in there.
