Last week of Lao New Year celebration @ Wat Lao Rattanamoungkhoun

Kallen and I on Friday went up to Murrieta to stay at my cousin's house to go to the last week of Lao New Year celebration at Wat Lao Rattanamoungkhoun. It was a very hot day but people still showed up in numbers to support local businesses and the temple. A lot of people, like myself, drove up from San Diego. I hung out with friends while Kallen played with Chase and other kids. I didn't do much but walking around with a group of friends collecting donations for the temple. Apparently they are short on money for building bathrooms. There was music, many vendors selling all kinds of Lao food, kids and adults enjoying themselves eating, drinking and just relaxing trying to stay cool. What did you guys do this past weekend? We got to to eat great food, hung out with awesome company and had some time to relax at the same time. Now we have to wait until next year for Lao New Year. Thanks to my cousin, Thoum and Don, for letting us stay at their house for the weekend.
