so!!! dateken!! y’know i’ve always liked this song a lot, even before i started studying more jazz vocals and learning more about the genre, so i’m very happy to finally upload a properly done cover of it!
this song i have actually tried to record multiple times in the past before settling on this particular take from this particular “round” of recordings, since they were all different because of the improv/solo things during the instrumental parts of the song ;u; I really wanted to do some sort of scat solos during this song so i’m happy i could settle on a take i was satisfied with-- hopefully you guys enjoy it too ✩
