Governor of plateau state, Caleb Mutfwang, on Thursday received the Nigerian Governors forum on a condolence visit to him and the entire state over the recent killing that cost about 100 lives and destruction of properties.
The delegation was led by its chairman and governor of kwara state, Abdulrahman Abdulrazaq.

The chairman commiserated with the families of the victims who lost their lives, and also commended the interventions of the security agencies, which prevented further escalations.

Responding, Governor Mutfwang thanked the NGF's delegation for the show of solidarity in their trying moment, saying the visit will encourage plateau people and show them that they are not alone.

Mutfwang explained that on assumption of office, he concentrated on building bridges of unity across board irrespective of faiths, noting that the renewed wanton attacks and killings in plateau is a terrible set back.
