Local body elections were held in 29 cities of Maharashtra on 15 January, with results announced on 16 January. What followed raised serious questions about the integrity of the election process.

From a last-minute auxiliary device connected to EVMs, marker pens replacing indelible ink, confusing voting rules, booth mismanagement, to allegations of ₹16,000 paid per vote — disturbing visuals flooded social media. When these issues were questioned, threats replaced answers.

This video is based on publicly available clips and reports.
The real question is — how independent is the election process today?
