Those that capitalise on the benefits that technology can provide are likely to be those that will best demonstrate value for money (VfM). When mergers are being considered, these businesses will either be in pole position for their IT and processes to be adopted across the enlarged group or indeed they will be able to demonstrate that big won’t necessarily be better and justify remaining independent.
