From shooting a heavy Model 12 to switching to a .410 later in life, his stories reflect how turkey hunting used to be—and how he believed it should still be done.

Claude Strother passed away at 82 years old, leaving behind a legacy of wisdom, humility, and respect for the game. These are lessons every turkey hunter—young or old—can learn from.
