In today's episode, our Host Nomazibulo Tshanga speaks to Akhona Qengqe who has been recently appointed into the role of the General Manager and has now become the First African Women to lead the food chain KFC/ YUM in the African continent. Her journey at KFC Africa began in 2015 as the Development Director, after which she was promoted to lead the brand's equity, inclusion and belonging agenda before being promoted to Chief People Officer for Africa in 2020. She talks to us about how her journey in corporate started and how she managed to climb the corporate ladder.
