This is a notion that many of us have been taught since childhood. However, as adults, we need to discern the reality of this belief. No one can claim to have led an exemplary life, as we are here to evolve—not only in our actions but also in our judgments. We cannot cling to a teaching that offers no grace to ourselves, let alone to others.

Beliefs rooted in dogma often lead to fear and repression, which can result in stagnation. As humanity evolves, our way of living is also expanding, encouraging individuals to seek comfort in the shared human experience, despite its daily challenges. The difficulties we face from our wounds are universal and not unique to anyone. When we learn to embrace our humanity, we create space for change and can pursue a life filled with meaning in our own unique way.
