In 1997, in Italy, a young woman was raped by her driver instructor. The rapist was convicted and sentenced but the Italian Supreme Court overturned the conviction in 1998 because the victim wore tight jeans. They said it was impossible for the rapist to have raped her because he couldn't have taken off the jeans without her help. After the ruling people were so angry that they protested by wearing jeans (denim), starting Denim Day, and it spread to LA, NYC, and many different places around the world. On April 24th there will be rallies all over the US to bring awareness to sexual assault.

The special Team BNZ report comes from Jay Sweet titled 'I AM". He explores the lifestyles of some graduate students at Florida A&M participating in the inspiring authorities in museum and management fellowship program. The program takes place at FAMU's historical Black Archives building where many historical African American information, items, and artifacts from around the country can be found. Graduate students from all around the world participate in the program and find that history in general helps them to understand not only their own profession, but themselves as well.

The Angela Ray's "Ray of Motivation" moment addresses the disrespect of women in Hip Hop. Host Christopher Martin ask the question "WHERE THE LADIES AT" in HIP HOP culture like those in the early days. He takes the time to address the current climate in regards to the relationship between Hip Hop culture & women and celebrates the female pioneers and icons.
