So I did what any law-abiding citizen would do: I called ahead before walking into the LVMPD Evidence Vault to check on the status of my legally-owned firearm—seized after a self-defense incident where I was declared the victim.

He confidently told me my gun was still in forensic testing (weeks after the case was closed) and that no manager was available, and no, I couldn’t get a copy of the notes either. Hmm. 🤨

But here’s the twist—
