Besides meaning 'to end', 'to finish', 'to run out of something', 'ACABAR' has two other uses in Brazilian Portuguese that are practical and extremely useful. In today's lesson, you will learn how to use 'ACABAR' when you intend to convey the following ideas:

end up (ended up, will end up) doing something;
eventually do (did, will do) something;
have (had) just done something.
