Описание к видео Real Fix For Kneecap Dislocation That Works⁉️

Understanding MPFL Reconstruction: Restoring Kneecap (Patella) Stability - When it comes to kneecap stability, the Medial Patellofemoral Ligament (MPFL) plays a crucial role. This thin band of tissue connects your #kneecap (patella) to your thigh bone (femur), preventing excessive lateral movement that could lead to dislocation. #MPFLreconstruction becomes necessary when this ligament tears completely - often from sports injuries, falls, or in patients with structural predispositions like trochlear dysplasia or patella alta. If you've experienced recurrent patellar dislocations that haven't responded to conservative treatment, this procedure might be your path to recovery.
During the surgery, #orthopedic surgeons replace the damaged ligament with either your own tissue (autograft) typically from hamstring tendons, or sometimes with donor tissue (allograft). The surgeon creates tunnels in the patella and femur, precisely positioning the new graft to mimic the original ligament's function and tension. The technical challenge lies in finding the perfect anatomical placement - especially at the femoral attachment point. Proper tensioning is critical. Too tight, and you risk increased cartilage pressure; too loose, and instability persists.
Recovery typically involves 2-6 weeks of bracing, followed by progressive physical therapy to restore range of motion and strength. Most patients return to normal activities within 3-4 months, with full sports participation possible around 6 months post-surgery. Success rates are impressive, with studies showing 80-95% of patients achieve long-term stability without recurrent dislocations. The procedure has evolved significantly over the past decade, with improved anatomical understanding and surgical techniques making it more reliable than ever.
