Taman Sari was built as a private swimming pool behind the Yogyakarta Palace for the queens and daughters of the Jogjakarta Sultan. Its got beautiful pink walls, Javanese architecture and ofcourse, the turquoise blue pools with fountains! After spending the afternoon there, we went back to Malioboro street for an early dinner at the food stalls to eat some delicious Mie Goreng!
