She invited Bray to attend her future matches and later made a public appeal to identify her newfound supporter. However, Bray’s surge in popularity didn’t last long. During Friday’s match at Rod Laver Arena between Alex de Minaur and Frances Tiafoe, Bray was again cheering loudly—this time for de Minaur. Officials deemed his behavior excessively rowdy, and he was instructed to leave the venue. Bray shared the incident on his Instagram stories, posting footage of police officers informing him that he was being evicted for 24 hours and fined $700 (£354.88), though he avoided a longer suspension.
