What is ADA Leadz?


To really answer what ADA Leadz is, we should start at the beginning: the Americans With Disabilities Act of 1990. One aspect of the ADA is that reasonable accommodations should be made for people with disabilities. And that is extending to the web.


The goal of my review of ADA Leadz is to help you come to an informed decision as to whether ADA Leadz is a viable solution for your clients’ businesses (and yours).

The key question that this review asks (and answers) is:

Are Mario Brown’s claims about ADA Leadz substantiated?

In other words, does ADA Leadz meet these two criteria:

1. Does it identify if a web page is compliant or not with WCAG?
2. Does it offer a solution?

In short, the answer is, “Yes, but…”

The quick answer is that, in order to get the solution that ADA Leadz offers, you have to get the widget upgrade.

And again, I can’t say that this will make a site 100% compliant, as this is an ever-evolving issue. But, it is a good start, and can help make a site more compliant (even if not fully or 100% compliant).

However, this work-around is largely experimental. It worked for me, but it may not work for you.
