Indian Springs State Park is located in Flovilla, Georgia (Butts County). This 765-acre state park is the oldest state park in Georgia along with Vogel State Park. It is also considered to be the oldest in the nation! This land was originally acquired by the U.S. and the state of Georgia back in the 1820's with a series of treaties between the Creek Nation. With a $5 entry fee, there is quite a lot to do. They have a lovely area Sandy Creek to wade in, with its flowing water over a series of rocks, they also have 2 hiking trails, mini golf, a playground, a 105-acre lake, an event center, campground and cottages.
