Clearing Hilda's and Hilbert's Extreme Battle Events without Master Fairs [Pokemon Masters EX]

0:00 - Vs. Hilda: EX Alder / EX-R Penny / EX Spring Burgh
4:17 - Vs. Hilbert: EX SS N / EX Champion Iris / EX Skyla

With both NC Cheren and NC Bianca being rebuff units, their respective EBEs are centered around them, with both Hilda and Hilbert taking much less damage if they don't have a negative status change (and having the means to heal from interferences easily). Aside from these two units, there are only two other Unovans that provide rebuffs - NC Rosa and Brycen-Man. I don't have the latter, so finding teams that didn't use Master Fairs wasn't easy.

While I have both damage dealers at 5/5, I only use 3/5 grids for both of them. Level 150 also isn't needed for any of the pairs.

Here's how each battle went and the sync grids used:

Vs. Hilda: EX Alder / EX-R Penny / EX Spring Burgh - https://ng-pomatools.web.app/team?v0=...

Definitely the harder of the two, as not only do you need rebuffs, you also want aggressive speed debuffs to remove her multipliers. I went a slightly different route though with Penny and her stat stealing, which she uses against three attacks that would otherwise KO her or Spring Burgh - Hilda's second Earthquake, Hilda's sync, and the Scolipede's Poison Jab (since Spring Burgh is Poison-weak). Alder is the main damage-dealer as she takes advantage of Penny's debuffs, and he doesn't have to grid Pinpoint Entry thanks to Burgh's accuracy buffs.

If you have him at 5/5 like I do, Impervious is the better grid tile to get instead of Overpower so that you don't have to worry about his TM's Defense debuffs. But I wanted to use a 3/5 grid to show that it's possible at that move level. Penny's Strike Cake isn't needed at all.

Vs. Hilbert: EX SS N / EX Champion Iris / EX Skyla - https://ng-pomatools.web.app/team?v0=...

Unlike the previous battle, not having a negative status change only provides damage reductions, which means that the passive is ignorable by Piercing Gaze. With this stage wanting physical moves, both N and SS N are great choices, and I went with the latter since he has Piercing Gaze to ignore the evasion gimmick. Champion Iris also has Piercing Gaze and provides useful debuffs to soften up enemy attacks and activate N's sync multiplier, while Skyla rounds out the team with heals, defensive buffs, and a non-missing spam move of her own.

Just like Alder in the previous battle, I wanted to use a 3/5 grid on SS N to show that it's possible at that move level. Ready for Anything would've been nice to get but I would've had to give up Berserker for it so meh.

This stage is the easier of the two since there's a bit more available counterplay, but both of these stages just reinforce my relief that EBEs weren't added to the Battle Rally pool lol
