La Vida Loca is a short film based on a true story about the Chicano gang life and a young man's retreat from the cycle of violence after his friend is murdered.

The aftermath of the gang related murder of a friend unfolds through the eyes of Mexican American high school student Adrian "Diablo" Nava as he tries to cope and figure out what happened. He seeks to escape from the web of la vida loca, the crazy life, but can he stay away after he meets one of the convicted murderer's accomplices years later?

Produced, written and directed by Adrian Nava, La Vida Loca was his directorial debut, a student film based on his own life.
