The Story of Bottesini's Reverie

Bottesini's Reverie is one of the most popular pieces for double bass, but the great man never played it himself. I decided to investigate why.

Thanks too to Barry Green, who pointed out that I made a mistake about the date of Herman Reinshagen’s death. He didn’t die until the 1960s, and it was his father, another Herman Reinshagen, who died in 1944.
