Lingashtakam is a widely recited Stotram (hymn), in praise of Lord Shiva. Lingashtakam which was composed in Sanskrit language features 8 verses and describes the importance of Shiva Linga. It is believed that regular chanting of this hymn gives one peace of mind and keeps him/her away from all evil and bad thoughts.
