Our guest on this Ground Floor podcast is Tripti Kalhans, who achieved the 199th rank in the UPSC exam. Tripti hails from the town of Gonda in Uttar Pradesh, from the same school as the renowned UPSC teacher Avadh Ojha Sir.

Although Tripti cleared the UPSC without any coaching, her journey was filled with challenges just like every other aspirant. In her first three attempts, Tripti couldn't even clear the Prelims. In her fourth attempt, she cleared the Prelims but couldn't clear the Mains. She had to take a year off, and when she returned with thorough preparation, she secured the 199th rank.

हमारी इस ग्राउंड फ्लोर पॉडकास्ट की मेहमान हैं 199वीं रैंक के साथ UPSC टॉपर, त्रिप्ति कल्हंस। त्रिप्ति उत्तर प्रदेश के गोंडा शहर से आती हैं, उसी स्कूल से आती हैं जिससे UPSC के जाने-माने शिक्षक अवध ओझा सर आते हैं।

हालांकि त्रिप्ति ने UPSC बिना किसी कोचिंग के क्लियर की लेकिन इनकी यात्रा भी हर अभ्यर्थी की तरह मुश्किलों से भरी रही। पहले 3 अटेम्प्ट्स में त्रिप्ति अपना प्रीलिम्स भी क्लियर नहीं कर पाईं, चौथे अटेम्प्ट में प्रीलिम्स क्लियर हुआ लेकिन मेन्स क्लियर नहीं हुआ। फिर एक साल का ब्रेक लेना पड़ा और जब वापस अच्छे से तैयारी करके लौटीं तो सीधा 199वीं रैंक मार दी।
