Garden Tips: Veg, Fruit and Mediterranean Plants for the Small Garden

You know when you get off the ghost train and look back at the structure you’ve been in, imagining it to be huge to contain all those spooky faces… and it’s the size of a triple garage. That’s the illusion to create if you have a smallish garden with not much in it-perhaps a bit of lawn and some leylandii. Obviously there are hundreds of ways of doing this. I’ll just summarise what I did. Our garden is a corner plot on a housing estate in Somerset which five years ago was a lawn, a poplar tree and two old apple trees with ground at the back and side of the house.
