Synth Tech E340 Cloud Generator: West Coast style demo

Описание к видео Synth Tech E340 Cloud Generator: West Coast style demo

Demo of the SynthTech E340 Cloud Generator, using some advanced modulation.
The E340 is sometimes thought of as either for swirly drones or supersaw leads, but this is another side of it.
Enjoy.

Patch Notes:
Red cables for CV, blue for audio, black for intermodulation.

Synth Tech E340 Saw out to Intellijel uVCAII chA. uVCA chA out to Manhattan Analog MIX ch1.
E340 Sine out to MA MIX ch2.
MA MIX out to uVCA chB, then chB output to audio mixer for recording.

Verbos MultiStage used as sequencer. VMS gate out multed to a pair of Circuit Abbey ADSR jrs Trigger in.
VMS Output A to Doepfer A-156 quantizer. A-156 output to Intellijel buffered multiple.
BuffMult outputs to 1v/Oct inputs of E340, E350 #1, and E350 #2

E350 #1 X/Y output a square wave for sync. Tuned in unison with E340.
E350 #2 X/Y output a sine wave for modulation. E350 #2 Z out was only patched to allow tuning prior to video.

ADSR jr #1 output multed to uVCA chA CV and Manhattan Analog MTX attenuator. MTX attenuator output was either unpatched, or patched to E340 Spread or FM at various times.
ADSR jr #2 output to uVCA chB CV.
(Note: both ADSR jr's are jumpered to output +5v maximum)

At approximately 11:40, uVCA chB output was patched into Make Noise MMG AC Input, which was initially set as a Low Pass Gate (HP/LP, cutoff and resonance all fully CCW), with cutoff and resonance then adjusted slightly to taste. VMS Ref signal was used to ping the MMG vactrol via the Strike input.

Tektronix oscilloscope used audio mixer output for main signal, and E340 Saw out for sync.
