Traditional Thai Snack "Khanom La"

Khanom la is a traditional snack in Nakhon Si Thammarat Province in southern Thailand. It is made with rice flour and egg yolk fried together until golden brown and then gathered into various patterns.

Khanom la can be divided into two types: la chet and la krop. The khanom la chet is finished by adding more sugar and drying it in the sun. Another way to cook cannonla is to add more flour and more oil. When done, roll it up with a stick, then let it dry and pull it out.
