I restored this old Bsa Meteor which was actualy my Fathers childhood gun. It was siezed and had been in a damp shed for years.. I stripped it into individual parts and soaked it in an electrical bath to help remove the worst of the rust. Then with a wire wheel i cleaned up the last and removed loose paint. Sandpaper was used to clean and polish the steel. There was a coat or anti rust primer and 4 coats of bleck low gloss sprayed on and left to dry. The stock was sanded and layered with teak oil.
