Jack Yabsley buys Ashfield apartment
CHILDREN’S TV show host Jack Yabsley has settled on his first apartment in Sydney’s inner west.

Yabsley, who is best known for hosting Seven’s Saturday Disney when he was in his early twenties, paid $715,000 for the Ashfield apartment with girlfriendLauren Wiley, a production and casting administrator at Michael Cassel Group.

Yabsley, now 31, has also taken to directing.
He has directed and written short films The Virgin and Super Nice, as well as directing Kings Of Baxter, a documentary following 14 juvenile justice detainees creating a production of Shakespeare’s Macbeth.

Set in a 1940s block of eight, the Art Deco style two-bedroom apartment on the ground floor matched the $715,000 CoreLogic median price for a two-bedder in the suburb.

It comes with a study and a renovated bathroom.

Belle Property Ashfield agent Tommy Ajaka sold the apartment, which last traded for $437,000 in 2012.

Yabsley, who has worked extensively in children’s TV, was recently the host of Seven game show Match It and is occasionally a reporter on Sydney Weekender.

Jack’s hosting career began in 2004 as a regular presenter on Totally Wild, moving to Saturday Disney from 2007 to 2011. Last year he was a voice in the family animation series Hoot Hoot and Go!
